← NORIA

Development & Credits

Last updated: August 2026. A short account of what NORIA is made of, and of the work by other people that it stands on.

How the site is built

NORIA runs on Next.js and React, written in TypeScript. Pages are rendered on the server so that the site works before any script has loaded — which matters more than it sounds when you arrive from a phone on a weak connection.

Typefaces

Headings are set in Lora, interface text in Inter. Both are open-source typefaces released under the SIL Open Font License, and both are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN — no third party learns which pages you read.

Speech and drafting

Recordings are transcribed and drafts are written by third-party AI providers, acting as processors on our behalf. They receive what is needed to produce your draft and nothing more, and your material is not used to train their models.

Images

Photographs and engravings on the landing page are illustrations, not portraits of NORIA users — no real person’s story is shown without their consent. If you believe an image here is used incorrectly, write to us and we will take it down while we check.
